Residential English and football summer school run by ACCORD ISS on the campus of Rossall School on the Lancashire coast, next to the seaside town of Blackpool. Students aged 8 to 17 combine English lessons with training delivered by the Paris Saint-Germain Academy UK. The campus has its own private beach, sports playing fields, a 25m heated indoor swimming pool, courts for netball, tennis and basketball, five squash courts, a floodlit all-weather pitch, a gymnasium, a climbing wall, music, drama and dance performance rooms, two IT suites and an Astronomy and Space Science Centre with a planetarium and Victorian observatory. Full board accommodation, meals, supervision and insurance are included in the programme price.

About the Course
English lessons are delivered by ACCORD ISS teachers and are open to students from beginner to advanced level. The football training is delivered by Paris Saint-Germain Academy UK coaches. Three programmes are offered: football with English, intensive football, and intensive football with English. Students receive a PSG Academy England certificate, a player report card, an ACCORD ISS course certificate and an English report card.
What’s Included
The programme price covers tuition, full board accommodation on campus, three meals a day, water stations, 24-hour supervision, welfare and pastoral staff, insurance, a training kit and a welcome pack, and a stadium tour for each week of stay. Airport and station transfers are available as a paid extra.
Accommodation
Students stay in the boarding houses on the Rossall School campus, in comfortable rooms of mainly single or twin beds, with shared showers and toilets that are cleaned and maintained regularly. Rooms in twin accommodation are shared with children of different nationalities and of a similar age so that English is spoken outside the classroom; parents may request a particular room-mate, which is considered but cannot be guaranteed. Each boarding house has a social room where children watch TV, listen to music and play board games, and professional staff stay in the houses to provide 24-hour supervision.
Meal Plan
Full board is provided on campus with three meals a day, and water stations are available every day.
Activities & Excursions
Students taking English lessons in the morning join football training in the afternoon. The campus offers sports playing fields, a 25m heated indoor swimming pool, courts for netball, tennis and basketball, five squash courts, a floodlit all-weather pitch, a gymnasium, a climbing wall and music, drama and dance performance rooms. Each week of stay includes a stadium tour.
Facilities
Rossall School has recently undergone a major refurbishment with renovated accommodation, catering and dining facilities and an all-weather playing surface. The campus includes two information technology suites, an Astronomy and Space Science Centre with a planetarium and Victorian observatory, and its own private beach.
Camp Experience
The campus sits on the coastline of North West England beside the seaside town of Blackpool, with a private beach around the grounds and transport links to Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, York and the Lake District. Students combine learning English with football training in a traditional British boarding-school setting.

25 hours of football training with the Paris Saint-Germain Academy UK and 15 hours of English lessons per week. Open to beginners through to advanced. Includes training kit (shirt, shorts and socks), welcome pack, one stadium tour per week of stay (three per two-week stay), PSG Academy England certificate, player report card, ACCORD ISS course certificate and English report card.
Fifteen hours of English a week in morning classes of no more than 14 students, taught by qualified and experienced teachers. A written and oral test on arrival places each student in the right class, and classes mix students of similar age and different nationalities. Lessons focus on communication and everyday English and finish with advice on further study, a certificate of attendance and a teacher's report.
Football and English together: afternoon training with the Paris Saint-Germain Academy UK, designed by PSG technical staff and delivered by UEFA coaches, works on ball mastery, dribbling, passing, shooting and aerial skills, with matches to show them off. Morning English lessons concentrate on communication and everyday English. The academy is open to all football abilities, and evenings may add extra training or workshops in nutrition, strength and conditioning and match analysis.

ACCORD International Summer Schools
ACCORD ISS runs residential English language and football summer programmes in the UK, including centres at Royal Hospital School in Suffolk and Rossall School on the north-west coast, and operates the Paris Saint-Germain Academy England residential programmes for ages 8–16. Courses combine English lessons (15 hours per week in classes of up to 14) with sport, activities and excursions; Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) programmes offer 25–40 hours of football training per week. The season ran from early July to August.
