About

About the Course

Experience London is an immersive city programme: project-based, cross-curricular and built around a different London theme each week. It follows the structure of a language course — lessons plus daily trips — but is delivered through CLIL, so English is learned through real subjects rather than as a subject on its own. Students aged 11 to 17 study in classes of no more than 15; students aged 7 to 10 study in classes of no more than 12 and have their lessons in the morning, with trips in the afternoon.

What’s Included

The school offers a special discount — ask us for details. The published fee is a price per week, and the grid on this card is that weekly price multiplied by the number of weeks. This is the day version of the programme: students travel in each day and the fee does not include accommodation. The fee includes tuition, teaching materials, lunch, trips and activities. A residential version of the same programme is listed separately.

Accommodation

This is a day programme. The school does not provide accommodation for day students; classrooms and the dining room are in the same building on Westminster Bridge Road.

Meal Plan

Lunch is included on programme days.

Activities & Excursions

Students go out into London every day, with trips connected to what they are studying that week. The school names the British Museum, Tate Modern, Madame Tussauds, Camden Market, the London Eye, Battersea Power Station and Notting Hill among weekday destinations; Saturdays are full-day trips further afield to places such as Oxford, Cambridge, Hastings and Brighton.

Facilities

DLD College, London is purpose-built and entirely under one roof: modern classrooms including dedicated Art and Drama spaces, science laboratories, a spacious atrium and social areas, a modern dining room with an on-site coffee shop, and campus-wide WiFi.

Camp Experience

The address is the point: DLD College stands on Westminster Bridge Road, directly opposite the Houses of Parliament and next to the London Eye, with the River Thames in front of it. The programme runs Monday to Friday from 8.15 to 18.00.
