More about this camp

Abbey College Malvern Summer School is operated by Abbey College Malvern on its own campus in Malvern, Worcestershire, in the west of England. The programme is residential: students aged 8 to 17 live on site in the college's residential houses for the duration of their stay. Programme and activities. The academic core is General English, taught for a minimum of 16 hours per week by qualified EFL teachers. Classes run in the morning, with an activity and excursion programme filling the rest of the day. Because the college occupies a single enclosed site of roughly 70 acres, most sporting and recreational activities take place on campus rather than requiring daily transfers. Accommodation and meals. Students are accommodated in the college's residential houses on the Malvern campus. Meals are provided as part of the residential package. Ages, dates and duration. The camp accepts students aged 8 to 17. The 2026 summer season runs into late August, and bookings are made in blocks of two to five weeks. Weekly tuition is published at GBP 1,110 per week for June and July arrivals and GBP 1,020 per week in August. Exact start dates and the current price for a specific arrival appear in the session list on this page — parents should confirm both with the provider before booking travel. Location and travel. Malvern sits in Worcestershire, in the English West Midlands, within reach of Birmingham and Bristol airports. Transfer arrangements are not published as part of the standard package and should be requested from the college directly. Who the programme may suit. Abbey College Malvern may suit families who want a contained, single-campus residential setting for a younger child, or who prefer a rural English location over a large city. The wide 8-17 age band means it can also work for siblings of different ages travelling together. Families whose priority is exam preparation or a specialist sports academy should check whether the General English focus matches what they need.
