Queen Ethelburga's Collegiate
Queen Ethelburga's Collegiate (est. 1912) is an award-winning independent boarding school on a 220-acre campus at Thorpe Underwood Estate, North Yorkshire, between York, Leeds and Harrogate. Its International Summer School (ages 7–17) showcases British boarding life: Junior (7–12) and Senior (13–17) programmes run 30 June – 21 July 2026 with at least 10 hours of English per week plus Camp QE activities, weekly city trips (Oxford, York, London, Manchester) included, and an optional fourth specialism week 21–28 July: Football (Mike Phelan Coaching team), Cricket or Forensic Science (10–17, also open to UK students).
