The methodology is hands-on and project-based, guided by an experienced science teacher. Students are taught a variety of laboratory skills before undertaking projects designed to make learning science engaging.
The format involves working on specific projects such as "Understanding Engineering/tools," biology projects ("Science in Sport," "Diversity in nature"), chemistry projects ("Crime scene investigation," "Colour magic"), and physics projects ("Up, up and away," "Supermagnets").
