St Giles is British Council accredited with strict safeguarding measures: staff live on site, students are supervised 24/7 with regular roll calls, and parents receive a 24-hour phone number. Free time is only for students 13+ with parental consent, at set times and in groups of 3. Under-13s travelling individually must use the Unaccompanied Minor service.

St Giles Juniors Cambridge puts students in a traditional British boarding-school setting in one of the world's most famous university cities. Teaching is at St Mary's School on Bateman Street, a short walk from the city centre; residential students board at Mary Ward House, fifteen minutes away on foot. The course is twenty General English lessons a week — sixteen and a half hours — with themed weekly projects and a placement test on the first morning. Classes hold up to fifteen students across five levels from beginner to advanced. Free English Plus options add exam skills, performing arts and a university studies taster. Outside lessons there is at least one full-day and three half-day excursions every week — London, Norwich, Stratford-upon-Avon, the Botanic Garden, King's College tours and punting — plus a full afternoon and evening social programme.
