Language lessons in groups of 6 on average, taught by dynamic teachers in friLingue's own alpine chalet, plus a full outdoor activity and excursion programme. Choose French, English or German; all levels A1–C2. From CHF 1,250 for 1 week to CHF 4,300 for 5 weeks, full board.

Morning language lessons Monday–Friday in mini-groups (average 6), afternoons of alpine activities, excursions and workshops; evening camp programme.

Choice of French, English or German with a strong outdoor twist: 3 weekly excursions in the Valais Alps and 2 workshops, plus optional intensive course, horse riding, tennis or photography.

Lessons, full-board accommodation in the friLingue chalet, 3 weekly excursions, 2 workshops, activities and a certificate. Transfers, insurance, special diets and optional courses (horse riding, tennis, photography, intensive course) cost extra.

Camp staff live on site and supervise around the clock; friLingue runs supervised transfers from Geneva (Sundays), plus escorted train transfers from Zurich and Bern, and an unaccompanied-minor service (CHF 100/way).

friLingue's St Bernard Summer camp takes place in the provider's own chalet in Liddes, in the Val d'Entremont of the Valais Alps, Switzerland. It accepts children and teenagers aged 9 to 17. Programme and activities. Three languages are offered — French, English or German — taught in classes of just six students. Very small classes are the distinguishing feature: six per group is well below the norm for language camps and means far more individual attention. The high-alpine setting at the gateway to the Val d'Entremont shapes the outdoor programme. Accommodation. Students stay in friLingue's own chalet, in rooms of 4, 6 or 8 beds with full board; host-family accommodation is also possible. Owning the chalet gives the provider direct control over the setting. Families should confirm room size, as an 8-bed room is a very different experience from a 4-bed one, and ask what the host-family option involves if that interests them. Ages, dates and duration. The camp accepts a wide 9 to 17 range — notably including younger children than the provider's Schwarzsee English camp, which starts at 12. Five arrival dates run from mid-July into August. Families of the youngest children should ask how the age groups are separated. Location and travel. Liddes is in the Valais, in the far south of Switzerland near the Italian border and the Great St Bernard pass. Geneva is the usual arrival airport, with a substantial onward journey. Transfer arrangements are not published. Who the programme may suit. This camp may suit families who want very small classes and the flexibility of choosing French, English or German, in a genuinely high-alpine setting. The wide age range and host-family option add flexibility. Families wanting an English-only camp with an all-English staff team should compare the provider's Schwarzsee camp, which is more tightly focused on immersion.
