It accepts students aged 8 to 17 and runs as a single residential programme rather than a set of separate courses. Programme and activities. Students take 15 hours of English lessons per week, combined with a leadership strand that runs alongside the language teaching. Afternoons and evenings are given over to an activity programme using the facilities on the Buckswood site, which include sports fields, dining hall and games areas. Supervision is provided around the clock by houseparents, and boys and girls are accommodated separately. Meals are included in the residential package. Ages, dates and duration. The programme accepts students aged 8 to 17. Bookings are made in blocks of two or three weeks, and the published price is GBP 1,350 per week. The camp runs within a summer window ending in mid-August; the arrival dates currently open are listed in the session block on this page. Parents should confirm the final date and price for a specific arrival with the provider before arranging flights. Location and travel. The Buckswood campus sits in the East Sussex countryside near Hastings, on England's south coast, within reach of London's airports. Transfer arrangements are not published as part of the standard package and should be confirmed directly. Who the programme may suit. BOSS may suit families who want more from a summer course than language practice alone — the leadership component is a stated part of the programme rather than an optional extra. The wide 8-17 band and the enclosed campus setting may also suit a first residential experience for a younger child, provided parents are satisfied with the supervision arrangements, which they should discuss with the school directly.
