Funside

Funside runs international summer camps and after-school classes in Hungary. Its sleepover camp sits on a single campus at Lake Balaton and is multi-activity and bilingual: campers choose from close to thirty different classes, and the rest of each day is given to afternoon and evening free-time activities that change from week to week. A session runs from midday on Sunday to midday on the following Saturday, and a camper may stay for one week or for two consecutive weeks. The school says that more than a thousand young people from nearly thirty countries come each summer, that fifty to sixty teachers and instructors look after each week's campers with medical staff on site around the clock, and that camp leaders are recruited through a long process that includes background checks. Alongside the Balaton camp, Funside runs day camps in Budapest and language courses during the school year.
