Camp Watitoh
Camp Watitoh is a coeducational overnight camp in Becket, Massachusetts, set on 90 acres around Center Lake high in the Berkshire Mountains of western Massachusetts. It has welcomed campers since 1937, is accredited by the American Camp Association and is directed by Britton and Drew Bitterman, continuing a family tradition of camp leadership. Girls camp and boys camp have their own campuses and alternate at the waterfront, and the whole camp eats together family-style, served by the oldest boys as camper waiters. Campers aged 7 to 16 come from the New York metropolitan area, from Boston to Florida, from California, Oregon, Texas and Colorado, and from Canada, Spain, France, Italy, China and the Dominican Republic. The camp is three hours north of New York City, two hours west of greater Boston and about an hour from Albany and Bradley international airports.
