Camp Lenox
Camp Lenox is a traditional co-ed sleepaway sports camp on 180 acres of Berkshire mountainside in Otis, Massachusetts, overlooking Shaw Pond. Running since 1918, it takes campers aged 7 to 16 and sells its sessions itself. The camp is accredited by the American Camp Association, complies with the regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and is licensed by the local board of health. The staff-to-camper ratio in the cabins is about one to three, and the programme is built around instruction: coaches, instructors and specialists run elective clinics alongside group activities, league play and inter-camp tournaments. Camp Lenox is non-denominational, with an optional Friday evening Shabbat service and transport to local churches.
