Camp Kennybrook
Camp Kennybrook is a family-owned, family-run co-ed overnight camp set on more than 100 private acres in the Catskill Mountains of Sullivan County, New York, about 90 minutes north of New York City. The camp has welcomed boys and girls who have completed grades 1 through 9 for over 55 years, and each summer roughly 300 campers and 125 staff members are on campus. Kennybrook describes its approach as "all for one": counselors and group leaders are hired to be role models and friends, and the programme is built around individual attention, progression by age group and a wide range of traditional camp activities and select athletics. Families can choose between a full-summer session, two shorter half-summer sessions and two-week sessions. Tuition is all-inclusive, covering day trips, daytime canteen, laundry and round-trip transportation from New Jersey, Westchester, Long Island and local airports, and the camp does not allow counselor gratuities. Kennybrook is a screen-free and 100% nut-free camp with three registered nurses and a Health Center Administrator living on campus.
