Classic-Camp Compact is the Ferienhort taster camp for younger children aged nine to twelve, designed for a first stay at a residential holiday camp without parents. It runs for two weeks in parallel with the four-week Classic-Camp on the same lakeside site at Ried on Lake Wolfgangsee, but with two dedicated groups, their own living areas separated by girls and boys, and a higher supervision ratio of one group leader to eight children. Participants try the full breadth of the Ferienhort programme in a protected setting: sailing and rowing on the lake, outdoor and indoor sports, climbing and high-ropes elements, swimming and stand-up paddling, creative workshops, music, photography and film, campfire cooking and evening highlights. Accommodation, four fresh meals a day and supervision are included.

Sobre
Sobre o curso
Classic-Camp Compact is a two-week taster version of the Classic-Camp for children aged nine to twelve, and is aimed at those attending a residential camp without their parents for the first time or unsure whether four weeks is too long. It runs in parallel with the four-week camp on the same site, but the youngest participants have two groups of their own, with their own living areas separated for girls and boys, and a higher supervision ratio of one group leader per eight children. The daily structure is the same as on the main camp, with five programme units and group meetings after breakfast, at midday and in the afternoon, so that participants sample the full range of the Ferienhort programme in a protected setting.
O que está incluído
The camp price covers accommodation on the camp site, four meals a day and supervision by the camp team, together with the full programme of sport, boating, creative work, nature, adventure and culture. The supervision ratio on this camp is one group leader per eight children. A supervised group coach transfer from and to Vienna is offered separately and is not part of the camp price. Reductions of between a quarter and the full camp price are available through the association's social fund where there is social need.
Acomodação
Participants live on the camp site in the main building, in two groups reserved for the youngest camp participants. Each group has its own living area with sleeping quarters, washrooms and common rooms, and the two living areas are separated for girls and boys. Sleeping quarters for the younger groups are dormitories of sixteen to eighteen beds with their own washrooms, showers and toilets.
Plano de refeições
The camp has its own kitchen team and prepares four fresh meals on site every day: a breakfast buffet, a hot lunch, an afternoon snack and dinner, with a soup of the day and a salad bar that changes daily. A vegetarian selection is available. Baking cookies and grilling bread on a stick over the campfire are part of everyday camp life, and meals are taken together on the camp site.
Atividades e excursões
Participants try the full breadth of the camp programme: sailing and rowing on Lake Wolfgangsee, swimming, cliff jumping and stand-up paddling, volleyball, basketball, football, baseball, tennis, a fun court, disc golf and archery, indoor halls for wet weather, mini golf and table tennis, climbing, bouldering and high-ropes elements, and camp classics such as 360-degree football, Quickball and Russian skittles. Alongside the sport there are music sessions on piano, drums and guitar with singing and karaoke, crafts, painting, body painting, jewellery, friendship bracelets and tie-dye in the creative workshop, photography, film, radio and event technology, campfire cooking, group events, movie nights, a torchlight walk and a disco.
Instalações
The camp stands on the association's own site of 400,000 square metres on the shore of Lake Wolfgangsee, in a quiet location outside the village and surrounded by lake, forest and mountains. There is private lake access and the association's own boat harbour. Sports provision includes outdoor pitches for volleyball, basketball, football, baseball and tennis, a fun court, a disc golf route and archery, indoor halls for wet weather, mini golf and table tennis, and a climbing wall with bouldering and high-ropes elements. The creative workshop, known as the Villa Kunterbunt, is used for crafts, painting, jewellery and textile work, and there is a music room, a large stage, a multi-purpose hall used for group meetings and indoor games, and campfire areas. Accommodation and catering are in the main building on the site, which can host up to 420 children and young people.
Experiência no acampamento
The camp is designed as a safe first step into camp life away from home. The higher supervision ratio means more familiar adults for each child, which helps with settling in and with homesickness in the first days, and the two dedicated groups give the youngest participants an age-appropriate setting inside the larger camp. Days follow the same five-unit rhythm as the main camp, ending with campfires, movie nights or a disco. Children may keep a mobile phone with them and have time each day to call home, usually during the midday break, within an age-appropriate frame agreed by the group leaders and the educational leadership.
