Preço 2026

The Citizens of the Future course is designed for students who want to become confident communicators and thoughtful global citizens through meaningful English language learning. The main goal is to enhance spoken and written communication skills to help students communicate more freely, naturally, and confidently in academic, recreational, and professional contexts. The unique approach explores real-world issues, diverse cultures, and global perspectives through interactive discussions, collaborative projects, and problem-solving activities. By encouraging empathy, curiosity, and intercultural understanding, the course empowers students to use English with confidence while becoming active, informed members of a global community.

Students receive 20 hours of lessons per week, divided into three components. Students choose between Core English lessons or Community Projects. Core English improves receptive and productive skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening, while extending vocabulary and deepening grammar understanding. Community Projects promote language learning through real-life practice, engaging students in meaningful activities that address 21st-century problems for the benefit of the wider community. Focus Communication lessons develop the skills required to communicate more freely, naturally, and confidently in English through oral and written communication methods including debating, presenting, networking, creative writing, academic essay writing, and business report writing. Learning & Innovation sessions are task-based and collaborative, developing the 4Cs of 21st-century learning: Collaboration, Communication, Creativity, and Critical Thinking. All lessons are taught in a communicative, interactive, and friendly way using relevant and current topics that encourage active participation. The maximum class size is 14 students, ensuring individual attention and support. Students complete an online placement test before arrival and a speaking and writing test on arrival to confirm their level.

The course is focused on developing confident, effective communication skills for academic, professional, and social success as a global citizen.

Mais sobre este acampamento

BSS Oundle School Summer Camp takes place at Oundle School, a senior boarding school in the market town of Oundle in Northamptonshire, central England. It is residential and accepts students aged 12 to 17. Programme and activities. Four separate strands are listed, and the choice determines the shape of the stay: Citizens of the Future, Academics of the Future, Artists of the Future and Champions of the Future. The names indicate the orientation — general leadership and global-citizenship content, academic study, creative arts, and sport respectively. Families should read what each strand actually covers before choosing, since they are not interchangeable and all four are open to the same age range. Accommodation and supervision. Students stay in boarding accommodation on campus, sharing bedrooms with children of the same sex and of a similar age. Matching roommates by age as well as gender is worth noting in a camp spanning 12 to 17, where a 12-year-old and a 17-year-old have little in common. Ages, dates and duration. All four strands accept students aged 12 to 17. Four sessions are listed, starting in early July. Location and travel. Oundle is a market town in Northamptonshire, in central England, close to Peterborough. The provider states the school is around ninety minutes from London Stansted airport, which makes arrival planning straightforward for families flying in. Peterborough has fast rail links to London. Transfer arrangements are not published and should be confirmed. Who the programme may suit. This camp may suit teenagers who know roughly what they want from the summer — sport, art, academic work or leadership — and would rather commit to one than sample everything. The senior boarding-school setting suits students used to, or curious about, that environment. Families with a younger child should look at the provider's Brambletye camp, which takes children from 6, while those wanting a football specialism or a course for older students should compare the Uppingham camp, which runs both.
