Students receive 30 hours of sports training per week, split equally between rugby and a second sport of their choice. Each sport is delivered for 15 hours per week, with 3 hours of training per day for each activity. The rugby programme is led by passionate and experienced coaches and covers both physical skills and mental aspects of the game, including handling and kicking, creating and attacking space, speed of attack, game awareness, and strategy, as well as leadership, teamwork and communication. Every player is given the chance to lead and take control of training, and then apply what they have learnt to actual game situations. All participants must have at least one year of rugby experience.
The second sport is taught by professional coaches and qualified instructors, ensuring expert guidance, personal attention, and a fun, challenging experience. Students are assessed upon arrival and placed into training groups based on their age and ability level. Additional workshops on topics such as match preparation, psychology, injury prevention, and sports nutrition are included, providing deeper insight into the life of a professional athlete.
The course is focused on developing rugby skills, tactical understanding, and leadership qualities alongside a second sport through professional coaching.
