It accepts students aged 10 to 16. Programme and activities. Students learn either English or French — a choice of language is a useful flexibility — on a working hotel-school campus in an alpine setting. The mountain location supports the outdoor and activity side, while the campus provides professional-standard facilities. Accommodation. Students live on the Swiss Hotel Management School campus in double standard rooms. Using a hospitality school's campus means good facilities. Families should confirm supervision arrangements, particularly for younger children. Ages, dates and duration. The camp accepts students aged 10 to 16 — capping at 16 rather than 17 or 18. A large number of arrival dates is listed from late June, giving strong flexibility. Families of younger children should ask how age groups are separated. Location and travel. Leysin is a mountain resort in the canton of Vaud, above the Rhône valley, reached by rail from Aigle. Geneva is the usual arrival airport. Note that Leysin also hosts an Alpadia language camp and a PEAK tennis camp in this catalogue, run by different operators. Transfer arrangements are not published. Who the programme may suit. This camp may suit families wanting a choice between English and French on a genuine Swiss campus in an alpine resort, for a child aged 10 to 16. The language choice and the hotel-school setting are the draw. Families with a 17-year-old will need a different programme, as this one caps at 16, and parents of younger children should confirm the supervision arrangements.
