The Wycombe Abbey Summer Programme is a two-week residential course for international students aged 11 to 17, held on the 170-acre parkland campus of Wycombe Abbey in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, around 30 minutes by road from London Heathrow. The programme is operated by Wycombe Abbey Services Ltd together with delivery partner UKLC, an accredited provider of junior English courses. Each week combines 15 hours of English language tuition with 8 hours of elective study. Students are taught in classes of no more than 12, with an overall staff-to-student ratio of 1:8, and every participant receives a certificate and an academic report at the end of the course. On booking, each student chooses one of four electives: Leadership and Sustainability, Coding and Game Design, Performing Arts, or Sports, Health and Wellbeing. Beyond the classroom, the timetable includes a structured evening activity programme and premium excursions — three full days and one half day per course — with visits to London and Oxford among the destinations. The campus facilities available to summer students include a 25-metre indoor swimming pool, a sports centre, a dance studio, a climbing wall and a golf simulator. Students live in the Pitt and Rubens boarding houses in two- and four-bed rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. The programme is fully residential and co-educational, with full board — breakfast, lunch and dinner — served in the school dining hall, a weekly laundry service and round-the-clock pastoral care in the houses. The 2026 season runs in three fixed two-week courses: 6–20 July, 20 July–3 August and 3–17 August, with arrivals and departures on Mondays. The course fee is £4,300 per two-week course and covers tuition, electives, excursions, accommodation, meals, evening activities and airport transfers for arrivals at London Heathrow within the standard window. Transfers from Gatwick, Stansted, Luton, London City and St Pancras are available at additional cost, and travel insurance is not included. A minimum English level of A2 is required, with B1 recommended, and a 5% sibling discount is available. Availability, dates and prices can change quickly, so families should confirm details directly with the camp provider before making travel arrangements.
