En savoir plus sur ce camp

The YFA Residential Filmmaking & Screen Acting Summer Camp takes place at Culford School, a leading boarding school set in parkland near Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk. Over the course of a week, students live and work like a film crew: writing and developing stories, shooting with professional equipment, learning screen acting technique in front of the camera and editing their productions, guided by experienced filmmaking tutors. The week culminates in screenings of the students’ finished films, and staff even produce their own series during camp that is screened after the Saturday night talent show. The camp is designed for ages 13–17, taught in two streams for 13–14 and 15–17 year olds, and no previous experience is required — the programme is open to complete beginners as well as young people already building a portfolio. The one-week fee of £1,790 is all-inclusive, covering accommodation at Culford School, all meals, tuition, filmmaking equipment and evening activities. A two-week option is offered at £3,490 when dates allow. In 2026 the season runs from 2 to 16 August, with the remaining bookable week running 9–16 August. International students are welcome, with dedicated information available for families travelling from abroad and bookings made through the online portal. Availability, dates and prices may change quickly, so please always confirm details directly with the camp provider before making travel arrangements.
