International Summer School at Leighton Park

The International Summer School at Leighton Park is a residential summer programme for international students based at Leighton Park School on Shinfield Road, Reading. The programme is run in partnership between Leighton Park and Experio Summer, and English tuition is delivered by EngXcel, a British Council accredited provider. The camp runs two-week courses that combine English language study with a wide programme of activities and excursions. Students receive 30 hours of English language tuition across the course, alongside general and specialist activities and classes, events and local visits. Each course includes two half-day and three full-day excursions to places of historical and cultural interest. Individual students aged 13 to 17 can book places directly. Groups of students aged 8 to 17 are also welcomed when accompanied by one or more group leaders; group arrangements are handled separately by the school. The 2026 season consists of three courses: 7–21 July, 21 July–4 August and 4–18 August, each priced at £2,995. The remaining bookable date for 2026 is Course 3, running 4–18 August. The course fee for individual students covers English tuition, residential accommodation, three meals per day, student medical and travel insurance, return airport transfers from London Heathrow (LHR) and London Gatwick (LGW) on course dates, the full activity programme, excursions and 24-hour supervision and welfare. Students stay in the school's boarding houses, with single, twin, triple and four-bed rooms and 24-hour supervision. Meals are provided three times a day. The campus offers a swimming pool, astro pitch, theatre, dance studio and recording studio, so afternoons and evenings mix sport, creative sessions and social events.
