En savoir plus sur ce camp

The Celtic Junior Summer Programme in Monmouth is operated by Celtic English Academy, a British Council accredited language school based in Cardiff, and hosted on the campus of Haberdashers' Monmouth School in Monmouth, Wales. The programme is residential for students aged 11 to 17. Programme and activities. Students take 15 hours of English lessons per week. Outside class, the programme includes sports and cultural activities and three excursions each week, so the timetable is structured across the full day rather than leaving afternoons open. Accommodation, meals and supervision. Students stay in boarding accommodation on the Monmouth school campus, with meals provided and 24/7 supervision in place. Free Wi-Fi is available in the accommodation. What is included. The published package covers tuition, residential accommodation, activities, three excursions per week, travel and medical insurance, weekly laundry and Wi-Fi, together with round-the-clock supervision. Travel and medical insurance being included in the price is worth noting, since many comparable programmes treat it as an optional extra. Ages, dates and duration. The programme accepts students aged 11 to 17 and is booked in blocks of one or two weeks — a shorter minimum stay than many residential camps. The published price is GBP 1,148 per week in shared accommodation. Available arrival dates for the current season are listed in the session block on this page. Location and travel. Monmouth is a town in south-east Wales, roughly an hour from both Cardiff and Bristol, which gives families two realistic airport options. The campus provides sports grounds, a dining hall and boarding houses on one site. Transfer arrangements are not published as part of the standard package and should be confirmed with the provider. Who the programme may suit. This camp may suit families who want an accredited language provider and a rural boarding-school setting, and who need a shorter commitment than the usual two-week minimum. The inclusion of insurance and laundry in the headline price may also make budgeting more predictable for families comparing programmes across providers.
