Más sobre este campamento

The camp is run by Pilgrims Young Learners, an English language course provider with more than 50 years of experience teaching children and teenagers, and takes place at Harrow School in north-west London. Students join either the Junior group (ages 10–13) or the Senior group (ages 14–17) and follow a structured day that begins with a morning meeting and English lessons from 09:00 to 12:15. The teaching approach, known as the Pilgrims Way, treats language learning and personal development as one process. Teachers stay with students through meals, activities and excursions, so English is used all day rather than only in the classroom. The camp attracts students from over 16 nationalities each summer, which keeps English as the shared language of the community. Afternoons are organised around two activity blocks, using Harrow School’s sports centre, indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, playing fields, drama facilities, art block and auditorium. A pre-dinner activity and an evening programme follow, ending with the traditional Pilgrims cocoa before bedtime. Trips and visits take students to towns, cities and attractions around the UK. Accommodation is in single and shared rooms at Harrow School, with Pilgrims staff living in the same boarding accommodation and providing supervision 24 hours a day. Meals are served as a self-service buffet with British and international dishes and a vegetarian option at every meal. In 2026 the Harrow centre operates from 4 July to 14 August, with courses of two, three, four or six weeks. A two-week course costs £5,490, which covers tuition, full-board accommodation, the activity and excursion programme, and accompanied airport transfers to and from London Heathrow and London Gatwick, where staff meet students on arrival and stay with them until departure. Travel and medical insurance is not included. Arrival and departure days are Saturdays. Availability, dates and prices may change quickly. Please always confirm details directly with the camp provider before making travel arrangements.
