Häufig gestellte Fragen

CampsBooking lists this programme for ages 16–17; the provider accepts students up to 20, so classmates may include young adults. Ages 10–16 attend SEA’s Language Camp in Leysin.

The base weekly price includes campus accommodation, full board with weekend brunch, weekend excursions and evening activities. Enrolment, transfers and (for non-EU) compulsory health insurance are extra.

Students live on staffed university campuses with organised days and evening programmes; the cohort is older (16–20), so supervision is lighter-touch than junior camps — worth discussing with the provider for 16-year-olds.

Mehr über dieses Camp

SEA's Business, Hospitality & Culinary Camp is run on the campus of the Hotel Institute Montreux, on Avenue des Alpes by Lake Geneva in Montreux, Switzerland — a real Swiss hospitality school. It is specifically for older teenagers, aged 16 to 17. Programme and activities. The camp offers a taste of Swiss hospitality education, with Business & Hospitality and Culinary strands, on the actual campus where these subjects are taught to university-age students. This is a subject-focused, career-oriented programme rather than a language or general activity camp — it suits a teenager genuinely interested in business, hospitality or the culinary field. Families should read what each strand covers. Accommodation. Students board residentially on the Hotel Institute Montreux campus by the lake. Using a working hospitality school's campus means professional-standard facilities. Families should confirm room configurations and supervision. Ages, dates and duration. The camp is for ages 16 and 17 only — a narrow, older band consistent with the career-focused, pre-university nature of the programme. A large number of arrival dates is listed from late June. Location and travel. Montreux is at the eastern end of Lake Geneva, in the canton of Vaud. Geneva airport is around an hour and a quarter away by train. Transfer arrangements are not published. Who the programme may suit. This camp may suit older teenagers, 16 and 17, who are seriously interested in business, hospitality or culinary careers and want a genuine taste of Swiss hospitality education on a working campus. It is not a general summer camp or a language course, and it does not suit younger children — the minimum is 16. Families should confirm which strand fits their teenager's interest before booking.
