The programme is designed for teenagers aged fourteen to seventeen. The group runs with a minimum of twelve and a maximum of twenty-four participants, supervised by a qualified director and activity leaders at a ratio of one adult to eight young people.

A passport valid beyond the return date, a copy and signed original of the exit-of-territory authorisation, a signed health record, an image-rights authorisation, a copy of the vaccination record and an approved ESTA, which must be obtained no later than seventy-two hours before departure. Vaccination against diphtheria, tetanus and poliomyelitis is required for group travel unless there is a recognised medical contraindication.
