Teensclub Italienische Adria — teen holiday camp on the Adriatic

There are no lessons on this programme. The Teensclub format is a supervised holiday for the age band between the younger holiday camps and the independent youth trips, offered by the operator specifically to twelve- to fifteen-year-olds. The base is a hotel in Rimini Miramare and the operator’s own stretch of beach around the corner; the day is shaped by the beach sports and animation programme, with excursions and evening events run by the Jugendtours team.

The package covers coach travel to Italy and back with two night drives, hotel accommodation, half board, the leisure and animation programme including the creative workshops, a sun lounger and parasol on the operator’s private beach, free use of the beach sports courts, the excursion to San Marino, supervision and travel leadership, a Jugendtours shirt and insolvency insurance. WiFi in the lobby is free of charge. A local tourist tax applies to participants aged fourteen and over and is paid at the accommodation; it is listed under extras.

Participants stay in a family-run three-star hotel in Rimini Miramare, the quieter part of town, with a supermarket, a pizzeria, an ice cream café and the district centre five minutes away on foot and the operator’s beach section around the corner. Rooms are three- and four-bed with shower and WC, air conditioning and, for most of them, a balcony; a double room is available for a supplement, listed under extras. The hotel has a lobby with seating corners, a terrace, reception, an internet point and WiFi.

Half board is served in the hotel dining room: breakfast, and in the evening either a three-course menu or a buffet. Lunch is not part of the package, and the district centre with its supermarket, pizzeria and ice cream café is a few minutes away on foot.

Swimming in the Adriatic, pedalos, and the sports and animation programme on the operator’s own beach section, where the beach sports courts are free to use. Creative DIY workshops make surfer bands, bead bracelets and batik t-shirts. Evenings are karaoke nights, themed parties and beach parties. The package includes entry to the Aquafan slide and amusement park, the excursion to San Marino, a shopping trip in Rimini and the sun lounger with parasol. A sailing cutter trip, a day in Venice and the Mirabilandia amusement park are listed by the operator as bookable on site.

The hotel has a dining room, a lobby with seating corners, a terrace, reception, an internet point and free WiFi in the lobby. The operator’s own section of beach is about 250 metres away and includes beach sports courts that are free to use, with a sun lounger and parasol provided for each participant. The promenade, the district centre, a supermarket, a pizzeria and an ice cream café are within a few minutes’ walk.

The Adriatic here is a wide sand beach with warm, shallow water, and the programme leans on it: beach days, beach sports and beach parties, with the old town of Rimini and the republic of San Marino close enough for an afternoon. Evenings move between karaoke, themed parties and the beach. Supervision is round the clock, and participants are placed in groups with their own leaders for the whole stay.
