More about this camp

The Stafford House Boston Summer Camp is a residential English camp in Boston, Massachusetts, in the United States — one of America's great university and student cities. It accepts students aged 10 to 18. Programme and activities. The camp offers English tuition in a historic, academic city famous for its universities. Boston's concentration of higher education gives it a strong appeal for students thinking about US study, and the city's history and setting support the excursion and activity programme. Accommodation. Students stay in residential accommodation. Families should confirm room configurations and, given the setting, what supervision applies outside teaching hours — particularly for a younger child of 10 or 11. Ages, dates and duration. The camp accepts a wide 10 to 18 range — from primary age to adulthood. The upper limit reaches past school-leaving age, so families should ask how the youngest and oldest students are grouped and supervised. A large number of arrival dates is listed from late June, giving strong flexibility. Location and travel. Boston is served by Logan International Airport, well connected from Europe. Families travelling from outside the US should check visa requirements well in advance, as these are not covered here, and confirm the airport transfer arrangements. Who the programme may suit. This camp may suit families wanting an English course in a historic, academic US city with strong university associations, for a student aged 10 to 18. Given the wide age range and the transatlantic travel, families of a younger child should confirm the grouping and supervision, and visa planning should start early. Stafford House also runs a Bournemouth summer camp in this catalogue for families preferring the UK.
