The autumn weekend camp in Saas-Fee is for young racers who want concentrated pre-season work while continuing their involvement with their home club or organisation. The glacier’s high altitude and dependable snow conditions support productive technical skiing, while the car-free village provides a calm and athlete-friendly mountain base. The programme welcomes U10 to U16 racers and forms small groups so that coaching can be matched to age, ability, and current development needs. Training targets Giant Slalom and Slalom, with coaches using gate sessions and video feedback to reinforce technical and tactical fundamentals. Athletes work on confidence, consistency, movement quality, and speed in compact training blocks designed to be efficient and purposeful. Each group receives guidance adapted to its needs and the prevailing conditions. The camp offers a focused alternative to a full residential programme, with accommodation available only by separate enquiry. It promotes positive learning, race preparation, and connection with an international ski-racing community.
