More about this camp

OISC Summer Programmes are run by the Oxford International Study Centre in the historic centre of Oxford, at 6-7 St Aldates opposite Christ Church. The programme accepts students aged 10 to 17. Programme and activities. The courses are English programmes in one of Oxford's most central and historic locations — directly opposite Christ Church, one of the university's landmark colleges. The setting puts the university city on the doorstep for the activity and excursion side. Accommodation — booked separately. This is the point to read carefully. Unlike most listings in this catalogue, accommodation here is not bundled into the course: it is booked separately through the school, and the fee sheet indicates half-board unless otherwise arranged. Families should therefore treat accommodation as a distinct booking to confirm — and confirm the meal arrangement and cost — rather than assuming it is included in the headline price. Ages, dates and duration. The programme accepts students aged 10 to 17. A large number of arrival dates is listed from mid-July, giving strong flexibility over timing. Families of the youngest children should ask how age groups are separated. Location and travel. St Aldates is in the heart of Oxford, opposite Christ Church. Oxford is around an hour from London and Heathrow by coach. Transfer arrangements are not published. Who the programme may suit. This programme may suit families wanting an English course in the most central part of Oxford, and who are comfortable arranging accommodation as a separate booking rather than an all-in package. The wide age range and generous calendar add flexibility. Families wanting a single all-inclusive price should note the separate-accommodation model here, and settle the accommodation and meal arrangements before committing.
