About the Course

The camp is bilingual: everything runs in English and French, and campers hear and use both languages through the day. On the residential summer programme, optional morning language lessons in English or French are available at an additional fee, adding a structured learning block to the activity programme. The winter and spring day camps are activity-based rather than lesson-based: the ski camp delivers its instruction on the slopes through qualified Swiss ski school instructors, while the junior, multi-activity and teen day camps build the day around sport, creative projects and local outings, with staff switching between the two languages as they go.

What’s Included

The residential summer package is all-inclusive: a twin en-suite room at the Haut-Lac Boarding House, three meals a day, the full activity programme, alpine excursions and lake watersports, with several consecutive weeks bookable together. Optional language lessons are charged separately. The winter and spring day camps are priced per full week and cover all activities and outings, transport to and from activities, supervision through the camp day, and the free shuttle from and to Vevey station on registration; on the winter ski camp the ski pass, instruction and a hot meal on the slopes are also included. Hot lunches on the junior, multi-activity and teen day camps are an optional extra rather than part of the weekly price.

A winter day camp for lower intermediate to advanced skiers, with lessons and tours of the Portes-du-Soleil area led by instructors from the Morgins ski school. Campers depart from the Praz-Dagoud campus in the morning and return in the late afternoon.

No classroom lessons: instruction is delivered on the slopes by qualified Swiss ski school instructors.

Ski instruction and guided skiing in the Portes-du-Soleil resort for campers who already ski at lower intermediate level or above.
