Club Albatros Italien — Marina Julia, Monfalcone

The trip is a supervised group holiday rather than a taught course. The operator publishes no number of lessons per week; the days are built around the private beach, the pool area, sports pitches and an animation programme run by the Jugendtours team.

The Club Albatros stands in the Marina Julia resort about three kilometres from Monfalcone, on the Adriatic between Venice and Trieste, directly on a gently shelving beach. Participants share five-person comfort bungalows with double and triple rooms, each with its own shower and WC, a fridge, air conditioning, a living area and a covered terrace. Free WiFi covers the resort.

Full board is included: a late breakfast with fresh rolls, cheese, cold cuts, hummus, jam, fruit and vegetables, a packed lunch each participant assembles for the day, and dinner cooked in the camp kitchen — burgers, wraps, pasta or curry. Free soft drinks are served at the Jugendtours bar from 10am to midnight.

Pools with a diving tower, slides and a current channel, the resort private beach, volleyball, tennis and football, calisthenics, climbing, yoga and minigolf, a summer cinema, a karaoke show and a barbecue evening with a farewell party are included. Surfing and kiting are available at the resort. Excursions and extras that are not part of the included programme can be booked on site.

The resort has a large pool area with a diving tower, slides and a current channel, a private beach, sports pitches, a supermarket and a pizzeria, a large group tent used for the club programme, and free WiFi across the site.

Groups travel together by coach with a Jugendtours escort and are supervised at the resort; the operator publishes a supervision ratio of about one member of staff to twenty participants. The operator states that the trip is not suitable for participants with reduced mobility.
