About
About the Course

A course book and all lesson materials are provided, progress is assessed during the course, and every student receives a certificate on completion.
What’s Included
The package covers tuition, course book and materials, a school bag, the midweek social programme with afternoon and evening activities and excursions, a full-day Saturday tour, host-family accommodation on a full-board basis, and transfers to and from Dublin airport. Accommodation
Students live with a host family in Raheny and the surrounding Dublin suburbs. Families eat dinner with their students every evening and spend time with them afterwards, which is where much of the speaking practice happens. Accommodation is full board.
Meal Plan
Full board with the host family: breakfast and an evening meal at home, and a packed or provided lunch on lesson days.
Activities & Excursions
A midweek social programme runs in the afternoons and evenings and includes excursions in and around Dublin. Each week also has a full-day Saturday tour.
Facilities
Lessons are held at Manor House in Raheny, a Dublin suburb about twenty minutes by train from the city centre. Free Wi-Fi is available to students.
Camp Experience
The homestay option is built around full immersion in Irish family life. Students spend their days in class and on the social programme and their evenings with a host family, so English is used from morning to night rather than only in lessons.

Babel Academy of English
Babel Academy of English is an English language school in the centre of Dublin, on Eden Quay beside the Liffey. It teaches adults and juniors: general and exam English, Erasmus+ courses for teachers and groups, and a junior summer school for students aged 11 to 17. The junior programme runs in two forms — a homestay option based at Manor House in Raheny, a coastal Dublin suburb about twenty minutes by train from the centre, and a university residence option on the Dublin City University campus, where lessons and activities take place on site. Classes are capped at sixteen students, every student sits an entry-level test and receives a course book, materials and a certificate on completion, and the package is full board with airport transfers, a midweek social programme and a full-day Saturday excursion. A separate residential programme for school groups runs on the South East Technological University campus in Waterford. Host families are recruited and inspected by the school itself.
